Tips on how to raise $200 (easy)

1. Sponsor yourself
2. Double your money with matching gifts. Find out if your employer offers a matching gift program. Your donation could double just by asking your human resources department for their matching gifts form. (By the way, all your friends and family can have their employers do the same thing with their donations.)
3. Ask five family members to give $10 each
4. Ask five co-workers or friends to give $10 each
5. Instead of forwarding another chain email, send an email to all your contacts letting them know what you are doing and put a link to the website so they can find out more. Ask that they give $5 to support you in your walk.
6. Are you part of a group (Parent/Teacher Organization, small group, running club, Elks)? Take some time and share what you are doing and give people a chance to join in and support you.
7. Give something up. The money for a movie or dinner at an expensive restaurant cand become more when you choose to give it.
8. Take your Walk for the World information and Support Sheet (link to Register page) with you everywhere.
9. As part of your signature on your emails and text messages, put a link to the WFTW website.
10. Encourage donors to make their donations in honor of or in memory of someone. Offer to write the person’s name on your WFTW shirt as you walk.
11. Change your home, cell, and work voicemail to announce to all that you will be participation in the Walk For The World.
12. Leave your Support Sheet and a way to get in touch with you in the break room at work, so that others can see what you are doing and contribute.
13. Talk to your Sunday School class, and ask them to donate to support your walk.
