Since its start in 1944 students across the nation have corporately raised nearly $236 million for Speed the Light, which equips missionaries across the globe with essential transportation and creative communication equipment.

Currently there are $23 million in approved opportunities to reach this world with the gospel.  As of January 2009, 189 U.S. Missions and 1,765 World Missions projects are still waiting for funding.
